Have you ever found yourself mired in losing battle against weight loss. Numerous fads, numerous attempts of different exercise programs, all to no avail. I don't consider myself an expert but I have found something that I feel works well for myself. I have always been committed and decommitted to working out. I'm either doing it hard or not doing it at all. What I have found that works well is taking small baby steps, starting with the simple task of eating healthy. I have found in the past year that eating healthy is 80% of the battle to losing weight.

The key is to not even begin to workout -- no cardio, weights, interval traning, core, nothing. Just focus at the task at hand, which is eating smaller, more frequent meals throughout the day. I will list below good breakfast, snack, lunch, and dinner items for you to pick and choose from to make them easier for you to start. Then, map out your day and the next couple days of foods from the list. Stay mentally focused on each meal and the next meal. After a couple days, you will fall into a routine of eating well and it will become natural for you. But, you've been warned that the first couple days are easy to fall off of task. It becomes a mind over matter approach. But it can be done, I've done it, and many others before me have done it as well.

Once you've reached the ten to fourteen day mark, as long as you followed the instructions above, you will definitely feel and notice a difference in your body. It's time to build on this by slowly incorporating exercise into your day. This means 3 times a week take a walk outside, while continuing to eat well. The motivation to continue eating well will outweigh any urges to eat poorly. Once you feel more comfortable, begin jogging outside or running on the treadmill or even joining a gym or a program you failed at previously. You will be amazed how motivated you are since you have already experienced weight loss with just eating well. You will find now that the weight will come off even easier because you are burning off more calories during your workout program.

Continuing scaling up and exercising at the rate that is most comfortable for you and your body. By using this approach, it's pretty much a guarantee you will feel better, look better and understand how to lose weight now and in the future. A good way to measure you success is to use bmi measurement as a baseline. Take your score before you start and after you end to realize the succcess you have achieved.
